Roham Rahmanian is a cinematographer whose passion for adventure and storytelling has taken him into the air, underwater, and everywhere in between.
He shot the cover of TIME Magazine’s Drone special, the first in the magazine’s history photographed entirely by drone, featuring 958 Intel Shooting Star drones forming a 328-foot-tall version of the iconic red border and logo.
A graduate of USC’s School of Cinematic Arts, Roham began his career working alongside world renowned directors and cinematographers on thousands of commercials for brands including Sony, Mercedes Benz, and Nike.
He has worked extensively with Ben Seresin ASC BSC, with whom he shares a passion for aeronautical formation flying and YAK jet trainers. He has also collaborated for years with Oscar nominated cinematographer Greig Fraser ASC ACS on numerous commercials and on camera and lighting tests for The Mandalorian.
Roham was honored with the International Cinematographers Guild’s Emerging Cinematographer Award for his short film Break the Will, which went on to screen at the prestigious Camerimage International Film Festival in Poland.
He is a Local IATSE Guild member in both Los Angeles, California and Vancouver, Canada.
